Dr. Roy Powell Jr., MD, FACS, is a double-board certified plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience. He holds certifications from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Powell's extensive education includes a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, followed by an internship and residency in General Surgery at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Dr. Powell furthered his expertise with a Microvascular Surgery/Lab Fellowship at Duke University and a Plastic Surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia. His professional appointments include serving as a Clinical Professor of Surgery and Chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine. He has also held positions as Chief of Staff at Charter Northside Hospital and Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
