5 stars is literally not enough for Dr. Diaconu and his team. I highly recommend him for breast reconstruction surgery. His bedside manner, surgical skill, and post-operative care is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Dr. Diaconu was amazing throughout my breast cancer surgery and reconstruction process. After diagnosis of left breast IDC at only 39 years old, I learned I would need a mastectomy and opted for a bilateral. Dr. Diaconu had a great partnership with my breast surgeon and they worked together on the mastectomy. At my post op appointments the breast surgeon and oncologist commented on the great work of Dr. Diaconu (and I feel like they have seen it all!). I had expanders put in at the time of mastectomy and visited Dr. Diaconu weekly to get filled. I am terrified of needles and he did a great job calming me down and delivering a pain free experience. I then went in for my reconstruction and felt that Dr. Diaconu did a wonderful and caring job. After I woke up from anesthesia I told the nurse Dr. Diaconu would probably check in to see me and she said “oh sweetie, the Dr’s don’t check in after surgery, they see you at post op appointment.” Two minutes later Dr. Diaconu walked in to see how I was doing and personally tell me how everything went. If you are in the situation I was in - recent diagnosis and no clue how to proceed, I can’t recommend Dr. Diaconu enough. You will get personal care and great skill.

Pleased is an understatement for the outcome of my procedure! I would definitely say that Dr. Silviu is thorough when it comes to his work and realistic about what to expect. I had certain expectations out of my procedure, however these expectations were met above and beyond and I couldn’t thank him enough. After the procedure I received a follow call from him and the office to check up on me which was a very kind gesture. With no hesitation I would choose Dr. Silviu again for my procedure. A relative of mines had an appointment scheduled with a different surgeon, however because of my results she decided to proceed with her procedure with Dr.Silviu.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Diaconu.It’s very hard to articulate just how incredible of a human doctor he is . He has the kindest soul ever. He is very professional, cordial and intelligent. He provided me with so many information that made me feel so good , safe and looking forward to the day of the procedure. He is so dedicated and committed to the well being of his patients . He contacted me the night before the procedure to reassure me and make sure I feel good . He did an amazing job and the results were better than the expectations. During my recovery , I got calls back and answers right away. I am so lucky that I met such a great person .
