Your body type and breast anatomy will help determine the specific procedure and potential outcome. Some women may need a breast lift in addition to implants to achieve their desired look.

The Breast Augmentation Procedure

Your outpatient surgery will be performed under general anesthesia in one of our state-of-the-art operating rooms. Dr. Ratliff carefully places the implants beneath the nipples, making incisions in the least noticeable areas possible. After surgery, you'll recover in our comfortable patient rooms before going home.

Recovery and Results

Expect some soreness and fatigue for the first few days after surgery. Most patients can return to work within a few days, though breasts may remain sensitive for several weeks. Swelling and bruising will diminish over the first few weeks. Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled at 1 week, 3 weeks, and 6 weeks post-op to monitor your healing progress.
