Understanding Mommy Makeover in Shavano Park

DrYoungForever offers comprehensive Mommy Makeover procedures designed to address the physical changes experienced after pregnancy and childbirth. Located in the heart of Shavano Park, the clinic specializes in personalized body contouring techniques that help women restore their pre-pregnancy physique.

What Defines a Mommy Makeover?

A Mommy Makeover is a customized combination of plastic surgery procedures targeting areas most affected by pregnancy. Typically, this includes:

  • Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) to remove excess skin
  • Breast lift or augmentation to restore breast shape
  • Liposuction to eliminate stubborn fat deposits

Procedure Considerations for Shavano Park Patients

DrYoungForever emphasizes the importance of timing for Mommy Makeover procedures. Patients should be finished with childbearing and have adequate support for post-surgical recovery. The clinic recommends careful planning, as lifting restrictions can last 4-8 weeks.

Personalized Treatment Planning

Each Mommy Makeover at DrYoungForever is uniquely tailored to the patient's specific body changes and aesthetic goals. During consultation, Dr. Young evaluates individual needs to recommend the most appropriate surgical approach.

Recovery and Expectations

Post-surgical recovery requires patience and support. Patients should arrange childcare assistance and follow strict post-operative instructions to ensure optimal healing and results.

At one time I would of given Dr Young a good review, but today is a different story. I just found out he retired closed his doors in November 2024 and didn't notify clientele of the changes. He and his office took $1400 of my money for a procedure that was never completed and now the new owners of his place of business have no way to help past patients but only to give a phone # to Dr. Young's supposed Office Manager Andrea who doesn't answer calls and vm is completely full!! In my book they are Thiefs!!

Went in for breast replacements, wanting to go smaller with a slight lift. I should have followed my gut about his bedside manner, very vulgar & crass, sexual innuendos during visits. I went ahead with surgery. My fiance said they’re bigger than before, Dr. young told me I said to go bigger, I’m 46, I wanted to go smaller, so he replaced with 800’s. 2 weeks after I was experiencing horrible pain, went in, said this does not feel right, he told me to wait two months, the pain will stop…. It took Power of my attorney to get MY OWN RECORDS. Now, they will not answer my emails or phone calls. I saw another Dr for corrective surgery for the rippling, mesh unattached and my implant put in upside down…. Karma

This Dr did not know what he was doing!!He ruined my body, I went in for a breast augmentation & did not at all get what i expected! He’s now retired, and was not able to do anything for me! He excepted me to pay for his mistakes!! Malpractice! He was too old to be performing surgery, I’m sure there is more woman out there with the same issue! Unfortunately there is not much I can do, he has patients sign waivers to cover his ass!! If there is other woman out there with the same issue please reach out to me.. This needs to be known !!

I should of payed attention to my gut. I wanted a breast augmentation for YEARS and I heard he was good; I was wrong. Nurses and receptionists were very nice but Dr.Young was a different story. He acted like he knew what he was doing, but by the look of my surgery, apparently not. He told me ”I don’t know why it looks like that.” You think a good surgeon would say that! He didn’t pay attention to what I wanted, he was not informative(he didn’t say there were different profiles to the implants. I found out till after my surgery), very judgmental, and rude. I should of seen those signs but I was so excited to get the surgery that I’ve been wanting for 8 years. Now I have to go somewhere else and pay again. He was going to make me pay the same price for HIS mistake that he was not willing to take accountability for. Good thing he is retiring. It would suck for this to happen to more people. I should of just waited. Now I regret my decision.
