I had an extremely negative experience with Dr. Mark Mofid, and I strongly advise anyone considering his services to think twice. From the start, his arrogance and lack of bedside manner were evident. He made assumptions about me without ever asking basic questions, including incorrectly assuming my insurance coverage. However, the worst part of my experience was his lack of surgical skill and judgment. I was left with two giant hematomas after surgery, which eventually landed me in the hospital. If I had waited any longer, I could have suffered serious long-term damage. Instead of addressing the issue with professionalism and care, Dr. Mofid stabbed my hematoma with a large surgical needle in his office—without anesthesia. It was one of the most excruciatingly painful moments of my life. This level of negligence and disregard for patient well-being is unacceptable. I would never trust Dr. Mofid with my body again, and I strongly caution anyone considering him as their plastic surgeon to do thorough research and consider other options. I am currently getting ready to undergo operation number two with a different plastic surgeon to correct Dr. Mark Mofid’s mistakes which include large amounts of scar tissue that will be cauterized out.

On October 15th 2023 I was in a bad motorcycle accident on I-15 in Escondido I was hit by a drunk driver on the 4th day of intensive care I woke up not knowing what happened my leg was mangled I was in very bad shape I was afraid I was going to lose my leg. It is now February 21st of 2025 it was a very long journey but thanks to Dr Mark Mofid I have made a full recovery today I went by his office to thank him he was very happy to see me and welcomed me he completely rebuilt my left leg all this was covered by my medical insurance he didn't ask me for nothing it almost brings me to tears thinking of how somebody you don't even know is there for you in your time of need I couldn't ask for any person better than Mark Mofid I would highly recommend him to anybody whether it be a life-threatening emergency like myself or just some kind of plastic surgery he's the best their is. Also his staff of professionals kept me always in good spirits they're also the best in industry I feel forever indebted to him and his staff thank you Mr Mofid for giving me the chance to live a normal life
