I was seeking medical treatment for a skin issue and decided to google “dermatologist near me.” Two offices popped up but for some reason my eye was drawn to Westlake Dermatology. Upon reading other reviews of PA Laura Scott, I decided to go ahead and book a same day appointment. I arrived at my appointment about 30 minutes early and was welcomed in with a warm smile by Lexi. She made me feel right at home and got me checked in quickly. Upon going to the back for my visit, Victoria (assistant) greeted me with a huge smile and told me more than once how nice it was to meet me. Then Ms. Scott came in and got right to the root of my issue. She was well versed on what she was speaking about and offered me more than enough information on how to proceed going forward with treatment. I appreciated the time and care she took with me. You don’t find that too often. I was moved to tears, as I have dealt with this before but was never told how to manage it. She even provided me with a hand written note so I wouldn’t forget what we talked about! Also, the ladies at the front desk were awesome. Lexi and Micayla were beyond sweet to me! I go back in 2 weeks and can’t wait to chat with the girls. They made me feel like we’ve known one another for years! One time, and I’m hooked! Thank you, Westlake Dermatology!

Dr. Kim was the absolute gold standard. She answered all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns, and demonstrated a confident and competent mindset seldom that I seldom see in the practice of medicine. Her assistant did everything she could to see that I got the prescriptions I needed to heal my facial issues. Dr. Kim has earned every one of the five stars I gave her and Westlake.

Doctor listened to all my concerns and provided multiple great solutions as options for me and all necessary items needed. He is a great listener and I felt fully cared for and heard. I also like the vibe of the office, very calming feels more like a modern styled home rather than a doctors office which made me feel more at ease.

Dr. Farnsworth is fantastic! He takes the time to really listen so that he can correctly address my problems, and answers any & all questions I have. Which is something that can't be said for many dermatologists -- everyone else I saw before him barely spent any time or attention & were kind of condescending. My acne, which had been a problem for months with no end in sight, immediately started clearing up once I visited him. We need more people like this in healthcare. Definitely recommend!
