I had a handful of consults with plastic surgeons and Dr. Vu by far made me feel the most comfortable. He did not try to upsell me on anything or recommend I do this or that. He asked me exactly what my goal and expectations were and we went from there as he gave me pros and cons to everything I asked about. What I appreciated was that Dr. Vu himself put together the cost proposal and went over it with me personally, in contrast to every other surgeon having the proposal handed to me by one at their admins with up charges I did NOT ask for. If you’re looking for an old school doctor with over two decades of experience then Dr Vu is your guy.

Dr. Vu saved my life. After loosing 150 pounds I was lost and depressed with the extra skin I was carrying. He didn’t make me embarrassed instead he let me know he could help me and made no judgments or comments! He did a tummy tuck on me and did an amazing job! I have healed beautifully and have had no complications. He is kind and caring. He takes his time during all appointments and doesn’t make you feel silly for asking questions and he doesn’t rush you out of the office. When I was emotional he understood and talked me through it. The offices are very clean, the staff is very informative and helpful! I’d choose Dr. Vu time and time again! I couldn’t have chosen a better doctor!!! Dr. Vu and his team are absolutely incredible. After losing a significant amount of weight, I was left with an extreme amount of excess skin, and Dr. Vu was eager to help me reclaim my confidence. From the very first consultation, he listened carefully to my concerns and provided realistic expectations about the surgery, recovery process, and what I could expect in the future. My tummy tuck required not only muscle repair but also a hernia repair. Because of the hernia, there was a real possibility that my belly button wouldn’t survive due to the damage caused by the prolonged hernia and the displacement of my navel. My stomach had been so deformed by the hernia and extra skin that I constantly tried to hide it under pants, skirts, and loose shirts. My belly button was actually 3 inches to the right of where it should have been! Even after the surgery, the skin in my belly button struggled to heal because of the damage I had sustained from delaying the hernia repair. But Dr. Vu worked his magic. He knew exactly what methods and treatments to use to transform my belly button. Now, for the first time in my life, I have a cute little belly button that I’m proud of. I also have a stomach that fits into pants two sizes smaller! I no longer feel the need to hide under baggy clothes, and I’m finally excited to wear more form-fitting outfits. Heck, I can now wear clothes that simply fit appropriately. I will and do trust Dr. Vu completely with any and all of my plastic surgeries. Idalis and Rose were equally wonderful—they answered my 3000 questions leading up to surgery with patience and care. The financial details were also straightforward and exactly as expected—no surprises. I’ve already scheduled my next procedure with Dr. Vu to remove the extra skin on my arms. I feel so blessed to have found a surgeon who has truly given me back a part of my life that I thought I had lost—my confidence.
